Meet The Team

  • Victoria is a world award winning bodypainter, feminist, artist and international human rights activist. Her work has been platformed internationally, from De Balie in the Netherlands, to Paris City Hall with Celebrating Dissent, oftentimes risking her life for protest. She is the core artist for Council of Ex Muslims of Britain, founder of Painted Powerful, and the founder of Whiplash, the world’s first ever support and advocacy group for survivors of BDSM. A fierce advocate for women’s creativity, liberation and bodily autonomy, She now works with survivors of sexual violence, FGM survivors, and ex Muslims worldwide.

  • Claudia Clare is a veteran fine art ceramicist with an impressive list of international acomplishments that can be viewed on her site here. Her ceramic works are biting, sharp, satirical pieces that document and express the activism and lived experiences of women across the world.

  • The Pomidor group was formed in Moscow in 2018 by the artist duo Polina
    and Maria. The group's works combine sewing, socially engaged practices,
    and public street art.

    Until 2022, the artists lived and worked in Moscow. Their work was characterized by its social orientation, humor, and focus on the relationship between individuals and authoritarian states. In addition to politics, artists view their practice as creating situations, experiences, and spaces for strengthening community.
    In 2021, the group opened Russia’s first home art residence — the Pomidor Residence — located in the Moscow Area in the house of group participant Maria.

    In late 2022, artists relocated to the UK as it was almost impossible to continue their practice due to a dramatic change in legislation that significantly restricted freedom of speech in Russia. They aimed to maintain their tone of voice and context. The group’s latest project is dedicated to people who stand up for their beliefs. The group uses the language of quotes, reflecting on personal experiences, facts, and legislative initiatives of recent years, narrating the history of repression in recent years.

Inspired by the women’s revolutions in Iran and Afghanistan, we platform women rarely acknowledged, the very women that bolster liberation movements worldwide from the UK, Pakistan, Korea and beyond with their creative work.

We platform new thinkers, doers, crafters and changemakers. These unsung heroes change perceptions, raise consciousness, create unity among women and ignite righteous anger, solidarity, artistry and joy as forces for change.

We use our platform to extend women’s creative freedom of thought, conscience and expression.

You cannot have a women’s global revolution without creating culture.

We are that culture.
